Following their nation-wide tour with Dorothy, groove-heavy and genre-bending act, The Georgia Flood, wasted no time getting back in the studio. Today they released "Take a Hit," a groove that came together in a style that blended modern day pop with the old soulful feels. The track premiered on Immersive Atlanta and they said, ". On the surface it may seem like a well-worn, radio-ready aesthetic, but even under tight scrutiny, the group’s punchy grooves and knack for big choruses measure up. With youthful exuberance on their side, the band has plenty of fuel to stoke their fire, but it’s their maturity and vision as songwriters that keep listeners coming back for more." Power-pop duo Secret Weapons are back with a playfu,l funk-inspired new single titled "Ghost" inspired by what the band describes as “a horribly traumatic event we both suffered which left us feeling like ghosts in our own bodies.”  The track made its debut on EARMILK where they said, "Secret Weapons are skillful song constructors and this track proves they aren't afraid to introduce various elements of song production into their music. "Ghost" is a representation of that and they seamlessly bring in various elements of Depeche Mode broodingly honest lyrics, laced with 80's style pop melodies and even subtly fitting in Daft Punk robot vocals."
