MEET ELECTRONIC DUO GLASSLUX AND FOLK SINGER BEN R. MACKIE

Drawing influence from 80's new-wave, Chicago-based electronic duo, Glass Lux formed in October 2010 when producer Alfonso Mayen met vocalist Emily Morse. With Alfonso's pulsating beats effortlessly intertwined against Emily's icy vocals, the two are creating sleek electro music that slips well into the night. Over the summer the pair performed at the world’s largest music festival, Summerfest, and were most recently featured in Chicago Tribune’s fall music guide, where they vividly describe a Glass Lux performance as "Incorporating everything from off-kilter stage setups to trance-like light shows that elevate the experience from cool to one-of-a-kind and unforgettable." For synth-heavy beats destined to to blow your mind, Glass Lux is your match.

Australian-native Ben R.
