KaiL Baxley is a self-taught musician who as a child had “dance-offs” in South Carolina with James Brown and later traveled the world as an amateur boxer. His performance at the Troubadour earlier this year was so mesmerizing that he received an encore as the opening act. Word of mouth about that performance lead to several booking agents and managers reaching out the next day. CONNECT also recently hosted a showcase for KaiL at The Bootleg in Los Angeles alongside members of Lumineers and Old Crow Medicine Show. KCRW is currently spinning songs from his album A Light That Never Dies weekly, and he just had a synch placement on the hit show Nashville.
Blues rock artist Low Volts was recently featured in Music Connection Magazine because Surfdog Records/Dave Kaplan Management used ReverbNation CONNECT's curation system to find a supporting act for three-time Grammy-winning band, Brian Setzer Orchestra's "12th Annual Christmas Rocks! Tour." Low VOlts will be the main support for the band during the tour that hits cities all across the country.
